Kile KXF Flights and Thresh Bars: I cannot believe the difference a few changes to a combine can make. I have complained about my AFX rotor in my 2188 for years. When I traded for an '05 2388, I did not see any difference. When combining corn, the combine always felt like it was bottled up. After doing some research and talking to you, Ron, I found out that the Kile Flights, with the row zero K 522 rotor transition bars, helped bring the corn deeper into the rotor. I installed the KXF88 and K506 rasp bars before harvest. Our first field of corn was 18% moisture and averaged 200 bu/ac. This is the most fun I have had combining corn in a long time. I could travel 4-5mph, dump on the go and not have the low rpm buzzer go off. Before, in the same circumstances, I was pulling back on the hydro lever in order to make the buzzer shut off. The machine seems so much quieter now and the corn flows thru the combine like water. I used to have a 50 rpm drop on the rotor speed, between a no load and loaded rotor. Now, the most I have ever seen is 10 rpm of rotor speed. That tells me that the Kile Mfg. parts are doing what they are supposed to do. I also discovered that my grain sample in the tank is a lot cleaner and looks like the corn just came out of a dryer bin. I will proudly install these parts on the next Axial Flow combine I buy. Kile Rotor Flights: Thank you for convincing me to use your Kile Rotor Flights in my Case IH combine.  I have used other products in the past that have promised to do everything, short of curing the common cold to stopping world hunger. So, it was amazing to find a product like yours that actually did all that was promised of it. The term "re-inventing the mousetrap" really applies here. The days of listening to my combine growling, thumping, and shaking like a wet dog when a slug goes through the cylinder are gone. Why I put up with it for all these years when a solution was just around the corner puzzles me. Your product is well built, installed with a minimum amount of fuss, balanced perfectly, and should outlast the machine it was mounted to. As you know I liked it so much that I bought a set for my 2188 also. The real reason I bought a set of your flights was the fact that they just made sense, which is why I make a special effort to track you down at ag shows just to see what new ideas you've come up with to solve some of the issues that we have with our equipment that the manufacturers fail to see. Kile Rotor Flights and Transition Plates: Just a quick note to express my satisfaction with your KRF rotor flights and transition plates which we installed in our 1688 Axial Flow with specialty rotor. We fitted the flights and transition plates the awkward way, without taking the trunk off which, on hindsight, would have been easier. This has been the most difficult harvest since 1985 with lots of rain and low temperatures, therefore little in the way of drying. In oilseed rape (canola) the new flights fed better, meaning the rotor had a more consistent load placed upon it and less in the way of rotor losses. Spring Barley was similar, meaning better thrashing and less thrown over the back, even at higher moisture, 21%+.....it was in the wheat where the difference was most noticable. Despite only cutting 30 acres at 21% the rest above 28%. Output was unaffected and feeding constant. Spot rates of 48 tonnes/hr were achieved at 28% and average tonnes per hr of 23t/hr loading trailers on the headland. High moisture content causing poor feeding and extra power consumption used to stop us from harvesting, but now (having cut some at 38%) it is the cost of fuel to dry the grain and strain on elevators which stops us. I hope I never see a harvest like this again, but I can safely say that your products made it a swifter and more relaxing harvest. Thanks again, Donald Ross, Scotland

Kile Rotor Flights and K506 Thresh Bars: I have used two of Kile Machine's products. I added the rotor flights to the front of a speciality rotor on a 1660 combine. The difference in the flow of crop through the combine was amazing. It almost totally eliminated any rotor growl in grassy or green stem soybeans. I would recommend the flights for any rotor. I replaced the 1660 with a 2388 in 2010. It needed new rasp bars. I had always been unhappy with the speciality rotor threshing corn. I had always felt that it was cracking too much corn. I decided to try the 506 thrash bar instead of the CIH bar. The 506 bar is a heavier bar and has a larger contact surface with the concaves. I am well pleased with the 506 bar and believe it has significantly reduced the cracking of corn. I will be adding the rotor flights to the front of the 2388 when I need to replace the elephant ears. Kile Thresh Bars and Rotor Flights: I had been running a standard rotor in my 1480. A couple of years ago I put Kile Rotor Flights on it. The Kile Rotor Flights improved the feed in tough stemmed soybeans, but the rotor still used more power than I thought it should even in corn. I talked to Ron about his new threshing bars for specialty and AFX rotors. I was sold on the design so I bought a used specialty rotor and put Kile Rotor Flights and K 506 Bars on it. I never had soybeans rope on the rotor, in fact I could seldom hear them going through. In past years in good corn we would run out of power at about 3.0 to 3.3 mph. This year we could run 4.0 mph plus with the cleaning shoe being the limiting factor, not horsepower. I grow food grade soybeans so grain quality is important. I was concerned about having more craked grain, but if anything there is less cracking in both corn and soybeans with the new bars. The Kile Threshing Bars and Rotor Flights are the best investment I have made on my combine. Brad Nexvold, MN

Crops: Wheat & Rape Seed: Thank you for the fast and professional delivery of your product. The rotor flight is a very big improvement on this combine because in this season we had to harvest 150 acres of wheat with 19% humidity (!) and the machine was running and running without rumbling until midnight and later! This would not have been possible with the old elephant ears! We could also harvest rape seed all night long because the rotor flights carry the wet rape stems much faster to the concaves. Crops: Wheat, Canola, Flax, & Peas: I installed the rotor flights in 2009 and grow mainly wheat, canola, flax and peas. The flights definitely reduced the rotor rumble and I'm able to run in tougher conditions without all the rotor growling. Flow through the rotor is much smoother now compared to the old ear design. I didn't remove the feeder to install the rotor flights but I did remove the concaves so it was a 2 man job to install. Not too hard at all. I would definitely recommend the rotor flights. Great company to deal with, very personable and great communication. I was so impressed with the rotor flights that I have just ordered a set of the transition plates. Randy McFadden SK, Canada

Crops: Sorghum, Wheat, Chickpeas, & Barley: I love the rotor flights. It is amazing how quiet the machine runs. No more grumbling. I believe it has dramatically improved the feeding efficiency and harvest efficiency of our header.  The flights were simple to install. I also put the rotor transition plates on at the same time and was surprised by how much the originals on the rotor had worn. Crop: Rice & Soy beans: We installed one of your rotor flight kits on our 1680 for the '08 harvest. The machine ran smoother in rice and soybeans and more than once it would have plugged up if it weren't for the rotor flight kit (we didn't plug it up at all in rice, which is our main crop) the crop just went right through. I would recommend the kit to anyone. Of all the other kits that I have seen the Kile Rotor Flight Kit looks to be the best for the money, ease of installation, and quality. Crop: Rice:  Your rotor flights are all you said and more. We have cut about 500 acres of rice with some lodging (down rice is about as hard on a combine as anything you will find to harvest) we have increased ground speed about 4 tenths mph. This may not sound like much but from 2.3 to 2.7mph is significant with fuel still about $3.50 a gallon. Your product is highly recommended.                       Michael Riggs, Cash, Arkansas

This has always been a good machine but it never cared to feed green stem soybeans through the transition cone smoothly. Now that I have installed your rotor flights, this combine has never run this smooth in these conditions before. No thumping and banging....the phrase "smooth as silk" comes to mind.
